Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch cake pan.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt; stir into the creamed mixture alternately with the milk. Spread half of the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle with cocoa powder, pecans, almonds, and walnuts. Sprinkle with dried cranberries, dates, apricots, figs, and cherries. Drizzle with brandy. Spread remaining batter over the top. Drizzle melted butter over the top of the cake.
